log splitter

Hi guys been looking for a log splitter . I have a 30kw stove to feed been looking at a Thor 13ton h. Has anybody used one or got any comments thanks Andy

Stephen The one ive been looking at is hydraulic , straight into back of tractor no problem with oil flow ,its going on 6930 jhon deere. Site ive looked at is firewood processors Hakki Pilke, logsplitters, sawmills, woodchippers model farmer 13ton h

sorry p.t.o no good saw bench going on 3 point link splitter stood at side piped into tractor . New splitter £1425 plus vat .

I have had a thoe 13t four about 4 years now. The only thing that i have had to do to it is grease the main shaft. Nothing has ever broken, and it still works as well as the day i got it. I have modified it so that it can be operated one handed, and hold the log with the other, otherwise i can not safely split 3' lenghts.

got the 10 ton electric driven one and cant fault it only replaced one of the cables in 4 years a wee bit slow but think it only refused to split 2 bits in all that time also great service from M Large tree services mine was one of the first he imported
