Motorised ascenders

Hey guys, need some help.

We need 2 motorised ascenders and are having no luck with getting hold of wraptors-are there any others that are available? they need to be able to run 10mm static rope and ideally be able to ascend with at least 400m of rope below them, if not there are ways round the rope weight issue. Price isnt too much of a concern but of course cant be crazy. Tried getting the Atlas devices but again no luck-thinking they are military spec and not available to the public. any help is very much appreciated and needed:thumbup:

just spoke to the actsafe people, the battery one wont be any good for us but the 4 stroke version looks like it might be a goer.

Being cheeky here but what mad cap idea are you running with now? More volcanoes?

yes mate, next trip is looming but this time were doing it witha bigger budget. its been called off a heap of times so far due to chch quake, jap quake, tsunamis, flooding etc.. but we now have a date sorted (kind of) and financial backing. 2ks of static rope is now awaiting us in port vila, but still the biggest issue is ascending out with the heat suit, oxygen etc.. hence the powered ascenders. Its all good though but i will miss the worlds in sydney which is a bummer. If the plan works we will be................ cant say too much at this stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
