as the title says, was in france last week and looked in a few shops(as you do) but found a dealer that sells ms 192t for 350 donks. this works out @ about £321. i know you cant get them here but is it a good deal? if it is i have got a friend going over in a week and he can get me one or two.

the 200t is around £470 inc vat here, so compared to that it seems a fairly good deal. you won't have a warranty, though.

You cant compare the two though, its a different saw. Its a top handle for the domestic market (thats why its not on sale here, domestics aint allowed top handled saws) so its stihl 230 instead of a 260, totally different.

 

Not saying its not worth getting though, for pruning lots of people rate them and that price sounds about right.

I don't quote think it is good value when comparing the two saws.

 

In Denmark where both MS 192T and MS200T are marketed, my local Stihl pusher sells the 192T at a price of 51% of the 200T.

dont need an ms200 rear handle cos ive got one. but i will get my mate to look for one:001_smile:
