while cutting high tensile wire a few years ago the tail end swung up and got me straight in my right eye. just remember everything going black and then blood on my hand. my vision returned in about a minute. eyeball went bright red and stayed that way for about 6 weeks till it faded ,scary time.

Do most of you guy's wear visors AND glasses / goggles combined....would interesting to know...

 

We have to on the utility contract we are working on but they do steam up very quickly in the wrong weather conditions

Not arb related but still shows the impotance of glasses, my dad blinded himself in one eye as he was useing a screw driver as a lever which then as you then slipped and went into his lacerating his optical nerve/retena!!! nasty stuff
