Thinking about getting a pair of these for general messing about in the woods, walking etc.......supposed to be very comfortable and waterproof and warm.....anybody own/owned a pair and give me feedback.

 

These are the La Crosse Silencer HD boots.

Or any other reccommendations for around £150.?

excelnt value for money, had mine 6 months and with a little looking after and cleaning and use the wax they provide they look good as new. I wear mine every day i mean every day. put them on 6 in the morning to walk the dog work all day 8/10 hours walk dog when i get home, so comfy.

took delivery of the La crosse boots today.....man.....are they comfy.....like ive been wearing them years......got them with added insulation. Supposed to be 100% waterproof....we shall see:001_smile:

Their wellies are bob on. Had mine nearly 1 and a bit years, considering Chamoos lasted less than 11 months, thats Hovis going that is the way I wear boots. Shouldn't go far wrong with those chief :)

I have 'Alt-berg', last good boot makes up north, really good boots. I have the sewn on sole 'keeper boots' type. Check out their full range including all the military boot range. :thumbup1:

 

I fancied a pair of their classic hand made motor bike boots with side buckles but my son said they look 'camp':confused1:
