I think the pole would be under some major compression.

 

Yeah, we discussed this earlier today and thought the same.

That's why you use a scaffolding pole.

 

Trying to limit the length of saw cut ends up putting huge tensions on the Trunk and the components of the rigging system.

 

 

I'll be honest, fabricating metals together aint my bag.

 

 

Guess I'll just keep cutting
