that's why the Hama, Alan & i cut off from the pack and went walkabouts.

missed out on the guided walk but opened up soooo much more :thumbup1:

Suggest google Moccas Park/join Ancient Tree Forum/Buy book about Moccas Park.Read all and inwardly digest.Then post on forum so that all of us will know. Happy Hunting !!

They plan to turn the larch hybrid crop area into pasture style again, I would assume they are going in heavy handed as always, but would prefer an ecologically diverse approach by populating the area with Phaeolus, it would rip through that stand in 30 40 years and allow a sucsessional progress through to eventualy being taken over by birch and then oak hawthorn, grazed by the deer naturaly, and then install the wild boar! and eagle owls to snatch piglets!:thumbup1:

Wow. I do actually look like a fungi fanatic there.So there's obviously hope for me yet !!
