Insurance and LOLER

Does anyone know if you are covered by your insurance if your gear hasn't been LOLER'd?

I have looked through my insurance docs but there's mention of it and I don't really fancy phoning them during the week.

The reason I ask is that my gear is due its check but I will be starting a job where all my kit is supplied. I will still do the odd homers where I would use my own kit. I will be keeping up my monthly insurance payments for those odd jobs but don't really fancy paying £50 every 6 months for kit that I would be happy to climb on and happy to destroy if think it would fail.

Cheers

Stevie
