Rubbish! Like I said, the Ama is good for the right job.

 

but what do u see others use everyday? an ms200t mayb,, i have never worked with someone who dosnt, the ama would be ok if it was sold at dealers were u could pic up parts the same day you need them,

and if your only going to se them for pruning surky its just an expensive silky saw?

Just buy one or get yer guvnor to and use it for those connie hedge reductions. You know, the ones that are too big for a Silky and hard on your arms when you cock the 200 to one side and then cut n hold.

 

The Ama is perfect for these kind of jobs, my motorised Silky...:biggrin:

 

You can come back and thank me in twenty years when yer elbows are still intact....:001_smile:

some people cant afford 600 on a 020t

 

still an issue for parts tho,, when im on a job with my stihl, and something goes on it,, i pop up the road to my stihl dealer which is 2 mins away, get my part that are always instock, go back to the job, fit it and its ready for the afternnon session

very true, but if they are on a budget why would they pay £300 for a saw that you can get from jonsies for £150?

 

Are you a dealer for these saws Mr Butler?

 

i think the price would need to be close the AMA price for them to sell.

depends on the dealer...some stiga dealers may carry more spares than sthil and vise versa
