Some if not nearly all of the most lethal & edible, are drab & indistinct in tones.

 

So what triggers the need to be kaleidoscopic ?

 

If they were all like ya common or garden supermarket fayre, you wouldn't get me & the hama banging on so incessantly

 

Is it perhaps just for our (human) eyes only ?

2ndFistulina

3rd A judea again this time on sycamore

4th pleurotus ostreatus

5th aminita muscaria

6th tremella aurantia, in association with stereum hirsutum on oak deadwood

7th coprinus micaceus

8th laeitiporus 9th the bitter oysterling

 

and finaly aminita phaloides the death cap
