Good evening folks just wondering do any of you's use steel banding ie for strapping nets of logs/kindling on to pallets??If so wheres best place to buy the strapping and the bands??

Can't help with where to get one from, but be carefull when cutting them off anything, i did it many years ago the strap sprung open and the buckle it me in the mouth, bust one of my front teeth in two very painful and very expensive dental job:thumbdown:

Thanks for the words of advice must say a friend of mine said the same.Maybe's the plastic bandings safer & better.

I cut a steel banding and one end sprang round hit me right in the eye ball!!!! had 6 stitches on the eye ball not very nice, but the 25k comp helped

Hi Darren,

 

Get in touch with a company called Cordstrap. I saw them at the APF and they arranged for their local rep to visit me. Their band is softer and more pliable than normal plastic strapping, is very strong and is used in conjunction with a buckle. Their rep is Richard Charlesworth and his number is 07977254603.
