I need some trees dismantled in Tadley, Hampshire

Firstly apologies to the mods if this, my first post, is in the wrong place or unacceptable for any reason.

I’m actually a private punter with some work that needs doing and rather than accidentally stumble across any local “accidents’r’us” cowboys I thought I’d ask the experts.

It’s in the Tadley, Berkshire/Hampshire border area and it is to dismantle/fell six or so trees, 5/6 medium oaks and a tulip tree. Access is good, not near any boundaries or cables. Obviously I’m no groundie but I can clear the brash and handle the bucking afterwards so nothing to take off site and no significant clean up required.

There is no desperate urgency but I’d like to get it done this season.

Drop me a PM if interested and I’ll respond. I’m out and about a fair bit so it might be a day before I can respond.

Great forum by the way. I’ve learned loads lurking here – mainly how little I really do know unfortunately!

If you need someone to remove the timber I should have a 10 tonne crane trailer ready in the next month. I will assume you want to keep the timber unless I hear other wise.

This thread is a fine example of how the general public find us, see how we portray ourselves. This job is not just about pruning a tree beautifully, cleaning up well and taking care of the property around you, by posting here you are in the public eye 24/7.

Yeah, and I've got to say that compared to a lot of the forums frequented by other professionals (so called) doing other types of work pretty much everybody on here comes across as honest folk with a love of what they do.

It'd be unfair to name and shame, but some trade forums where I've gone to see how Joe Public gets treated - as a stupid cash cow to be milked usually - has put me right off ever employing any of them again.

This forum is a great advert for the Arboriculturist profession.
