Hi,

Im looking to get a artic load of hardwood cord, dose anyone know any good suppliers, and what sort of money an artic load of wood is? and how many cubic metres of split wood id get from a artic load of cord i live in Cambridge Suffolk area

i get mine delivered in chord in processable sizes at £50 a ton.. roughly 27 ton on a load... we deliver half transit load slightly heaped in middle for 80 quid.. last load i had i got around 33 loads out of it and time i had paid my 2 lads to process it i was left with £800.. which is £25 load.. less fuel and less adverts... only good thing is i got my truck designed so it takes 3 or poss 4 loads at a time.. which is invaluable on savin time and diesel.. and we were doing around 12 loads a day for 3 weeks up to xmas.. unless you have good amount of your own firewood [thats cost nothing] to mix with it i wouldnt think theres much profit in it..

Iv got some wood at the yard from my own job just want to top it up really.

What supplier do you use nick if you dont mind me asking and do you think they will have any?
