Right after finding out the price for a new charge coil was £188 omfg, i actually learnt how to use my multimeter properly.

 

instead of dc switched to ac to test the charge coil and got 38.5v hmmm, so next the rectifier looked ok but the connector block looked dirty unclipped it and wiggled the wires to find one pop out very corroded.

 

so look at the pics below and see how i saved money £0.50 worth of iffy electrical skills and yes 14.7v charging the hassel i just saved by actually

looking properly

this is only a temp fix id like a new block anyone know where to get one or a new rectifier if its under £50?.
