Conkers, if you're more into domestic tree work maybe have a look at Checkatrade.com. £490 a year. Takes about 20 mins to do the paperwork if you have all the basic stuff. Very effective for turning quotes into work.

I've been on checkatrade for about two years and it works very well as its impossible for cowboys and gypos to get on their register, unlike yellow pages etc.

If you do predominantly domestic work chekatrade will be good for you but you must be active on your site, which is easy.

Being AA approved will not make the phone ring, however it can do wonders to help your business.
