Chainsaw Fuel

TRADITIONAL LOGGERS
 Share

Recommended Posts

I have found a new source in the EU that produces legal approved green fuels and oils to use in chainsaws.....

Should have the trade bulk prices on Monday morning if not before. I have tried a sample this week and am impressed. Shall we all place a large bulk order depending on prices?

I intend to have 4 x 200LTS drums and could share more if needed.

I will post prices here.

Will be available in 20 - 60 - 200 LTRS but amounts will depend on freight costs. I am in the office this morning and hope to have a response from them soon.

Thanks for the nudge. I had not received all the info I needed however it will be available as follows:-

200LTRS steel drums x 4 on a wooden pallet.

60LTRS steel drums x 6 on a wooden Euro pallet.

20LTRS plastic cans x 24 on a wooden pallet.

If people need less in Derbyshire it will be possible to collect. The product will store for 24 months with no issues according to the paperwork.

We are aiming at present to send direct to customers from the firm who makes the fuel so the PRICES WILL BE LESS THAN THOSE TO dealers/distribution people. (Sorry Aspen!):001_rolleyes:

The product is the same as Aspen but the smell is different. It is approved and tested in the EU and the firm has been producing for over ten years but we had not heard of them.:confused1: All should be known soon but I have to keep some details back due to commercial reasons. If people wish to PM with possible amount needed we can E-mail you ASAP.

I was one of the first to use Aspen here but prices have gone up so much in general I looked elsewhere. The firm also produce a green chainoil which is the reason for some delays as we have been testing the product in the woods.

I am in a long discussion with HMRC to reduce the fuel tax to that of Red diesel and almost there.
