At the end of day if you are going to ascend the same tree the next morning a lot of people take the climbing line out only having to reclimb to top anchor next morning. I clip an old line to the end of the climbing line and run this up and swap it round in the morning.

I no longer leave a climbing line in the tree overnight since I had one nicked. Instead of a climbing line just attach your throwline and pull that through, less visible and less expensive to replace if it does get nicked.
