iv got this fungus on a walnut tree can anyone help me out

1. i would like to no what the fungi is and

2. is the little holes in the dead wood (wood worm)

cheer mate that helped me out alot whats the holes in the dead wood

 

Could be any one of a number of different number of wood boring insects. The holes are usually made by the larvae of beetles, no need to worry they only eat dead wood not living tissue.
