395xp air filter design fault.

I have a 2009 395xp and love it except the air filter let's through a LOT of fine dust. After one tank of fuel used, there is a 1mm coating inside the tube that goes down to the carb. Clearly this is no good but my local dealer can't seem to help!

Any ideas welcome.

Don't have this problem with mine. Try up-rating your air filter to a heavy duty one? I have with my 088 as it let fine dust in.

Good point but my Husky dealer has been unable to help and I have not been able to find one that fits.

I have three different filters for the 395XPG and one also has a different plastic cover. No problems when milling up. I will check them in the morning for part numbers and post in the evening.
