How come some of those splitters can be operated with 1 hand?

You are quite correct we don't a 2 way splitter. Cycle time is not every thing.

I would disagree, cycle time is paramount on a slow hydraulic tractor. If you want to demo I am just outside Bolton Lancs

going by the size of that ram it'll tear that piece of angle off first knarly piece you put through it

worth that price for the ram but you'd need alot of oil flow to get a fast cycle time
