Hi,

Just sold my 1x37 and can't decide what to replace it with!! Dalan, BGU,Duun, or a new Hakki

Has anyone got the new 1x42? are they a good buy? can anyone give me the good and bad points, also what are the Hakki log decks like.

Thanks John

Hi Stan,

I upgraded from a 1x37 to a 1x42 and what a difference! Twice the machine you wouldn't want to go back!!! Hydraulic controls are great and so easy, good ram power with a back up ram kicking in and the elevator can slew from side to side!

Just ordered a Hakki log deck its a woodran 422 which will make life alot easier... seen them working and are very efficient.

Hope this helps

Hi John,

I'm based in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire. I bought the machine from Davies Implements Carmarthen. £2,500 for the log deck which I got from Phil Alderson he has baed in Shropshire. He is also a Hakki Pilke dealer and has a 1x42 and does alot of firewood processing himself. Maybe closer to you and he knows the machines inside out!

cheers
