Italian made LawnFlite top handle chainsaw

Hi folks

 

come accross a Lawnflite badged top handle not sure on the numbers it is. Anyone know what make these really are?

Look a well made and thought out saw, made in Italy stamped on it

 

runs up nice and feels comfy to use

 

Any info greatlly appreciated

if its italian made in the last 15 years its probably a zenoah design, like the efco/oleo macs, the ama and the newer husky ones...

 

older it could be an alpina? they usually look quite distinctive. not sure if olympic (who then became efco/oleo mac) ever made an in-house designed top handle, but they may well have...

the cub cadets certainly look like old zenoahs with a bit of itlian flair on the top cover plastics, the blocky starter cover and rear handle sure looks like 80's japanese design to me.

would say it is a few years old not sure to be honest just been given it to sort out and get going.

it has a chain brake and anti vibration so not old old .

i would say it`s a zenoha , when i get it up and running propper i will take some pictures and post them up.

the choke control is on the front above oil and fuel caps

remove a plastic front cover and carb is located at the front under cross handle.

metal chassis quiet astrong little saw.

done a bit more research on this saw and i think it could be an olympyk 935.

 

if anyone has a picture of this saw could they post it up please

 

tried gooooooooooogle but nothing.

 

age of saw around mid early 80s, a parts/ service manual for this would be great if anyone has one , tried all the usual web pages but nothing as yet.
