no-stress Greenmech Safetrak

Hi arbtalkers,

 

today the infeed rollers on my greenmech stopped working. fortunately there is a bypass valve and we could continue working without the no-stress function.

 

the electronic box seems to work, there is a orange light which switches into green when the engine runs on full speed. as far as we could see, all cables are connected and there's no dirt in the valve.

 

we checked the 2 cables going into the valve but we couldnt detect any voltage on it. when we connected them directly to the battery, the valve closed and opened, so we assume there is a cable break hiding somewhere in the machine or the the electronic box is not working as it should.

 

any ideas on that?

I had the same problem with my Safetrack 19-28 today...

 

It turned out to be a fuse on the main wiring loom from the hydraulic no-stress control.

 

There are two fuses which can be found by removing the side engine cover on the control panel side of the machine.

On the far right hand side close to the control panel there is a wiring loom which leads into a connector and then up to the panel.

 

The fuses are located on this loom on orange wires and have waterproof rubber covers - one is a 40 amp ad one is a 20 amp - the 20 amp on mine had fried itself for some reason - replaced fuse and it was working fine for the rest of the day.

 

Might not be the same fault but worth checking.

It seems that the box is okay if it is going to green but 12volts are not getting to the valve. check all wiring and connections between the box and the valve.

 

Andreas will be able to help more than that!

Just had this with my timberwolf disconnected all electrical connectors can of wd40 cleaned them up check no stress started working again the cold weather speeds up corrosion on the terminals

thanks for your answers! i'll check the complete electric tomorrow. Andreas from greenmech.de has already provided some technical support on the phone when simultaneously both track drive belts, one electric motor from the x-leg and two bowden cables broke (!) :-)

hi arbtalkers, we finally found the problem. parts of the broken belts slammed against the cable route and caused some cables to break 40cm away at a sharp edge.
