a few pics of todays mission,headed as a thread for all,because it has all the forum topics,pictures,firewood,chainsaw,deadwood [which i know some of you love standing deadwood]not a standing deadwood[windblown silver birch]came down,flattened the stock fence and blocked gateway!

not the best quality pics[phone camera and getting dark]please note the last pic of a large ash taken through a limb hole,i was trying to be creative

shame about the camera, last shot would be pretty cool with some decent hardware taking it.

 

Do you ever take out a camera other than the phone?

many thanks,sometimes when i take the dog for a walk i take the camera,nothing flashy,just a 4 mil mega pixel samsung digimax[posted some pic of a monkey puzzle tree taken with it a few days ago on here]it dont take a bad pic.

when i went out to cut up this birch,i took minimum tools,chainsaw,combi can and a few files was wearing ppe,as it was a 6 field walk from the house?

reason for the walk,its been so snowy and wet,i did not want to cut up the fields with 4x4 and trailer:blushing:

in a few days,when the ground is harder,i will return to pick wood and will take camera and retake and list the thread pic for monkey d:thumbup:
