Haulage costs

Does anyone have a rough guide of the cost per mile for hauling full artic loads of cordwood?

Don't know about cost per mile, but hauliers for us won't even put it on and take it back off again for less than £7.50/tonne, that's even if they only move it 2 mile down the road. Further than that and the costs only go one way:001_rolleyes:

Our local guy charges £50 per hour, charged from leaving his yard until he returns.
