I must say that I've only had the iPad a few days and I am already hooked. I can see that it is going to be something that I rely upon each and every day. And that's only the Angry Birds game!

 

Seriously though - it does, in many respects, completely negate the need for a smart phone. Have a good, tough phone, with long battery and simple functions for phoning, and keep that on you. When you need to do everything else, the iPad is in the truck!

ive been battling all weekend and got nothing. there are loads on ebay going for an extra £50-200 more than retail, i think im getting close! my turn will come hopefully...

No, I wasn't fussed about it. The iPad 1 does everything that I need it to do and it was very cheap.

so i had the girlfriend hunting while i was in college today. PPhoned John lewis in liverpool and they had none, although they had 1 left in stock, in cambridge! so she went for that, it'll be here at the weekend. bought myself the wireless keyboard for it for when im sat working, easier to type on the keyboard than it is on the screen while sat down. its linked to my phone at the minute, works lovely!

Three.co.uk. £75 for the iPad and then £20 a month for more data than you can ever reasonably use.
