There is a far simpler solution. The savings required to clear the British economy's deficit is £86 billion over 5 years. Over the same period Britain will have to pay £130 billion to be a member of the EU!

 

So we leave the EU and we clear the deficit in fail swoop and still have enough left over to give every man woman and child in the UK a cheque for £500. The added bonus is that the British government actually get to be in charge of Great Britain.
