snow todays job off

Was looking forward to todays job a garden clearance and cut back but snow has put a stop to it.

 

but have re booked it for next week so thats good.

 

did splitting all day yesterday had a great time it was a beautiful day sun was shining and it was just crisp and crunchy lovely to work out side . worked for a jolly nice couple tea always comes out when i want it .

 

A good layer of snow on mendip this morning lets hope I can get out of my long lane this morning its sure is going to be a slide. Pipes and loo still frozen solid think they may stay that way for a few days yet.

Not been able to do anything all week snow 2 foot deep got sum log orders but can not get to my yard 6 foot drifts in wood first time in 30 years been unable to get in yard looks like a long hard winter on bread and water

We just went sideways down one of our local hills. Only to find a bloody tractor on it side as we slid round the corner. We hedged it n survived.
