i see theres a brand new one on ebay with heated handles he want £400 inc postage

 

Good price mate with the heated handles even if they're not necessary. 260's are fetching 300+ sometimes on fleabay so 400 is a great deal imho.

 

People are raving about the 261 on other sites from other countries, but don't forget that the 260 is a proven model but is a very old design! I love my 260, but i wouldn't mind having a 261!! :biggrin:

here we go again the bloke has asked about the 261 not a 346xp if he asked about a different saw i would say a 441. dont think u would go wrong with a 261 ask justin for a price and try it out stihl dont normal get it wrong iv used a 260 and that is a good saw hope that help

I have had hold of the 261 and it's bigger and heavyier than the 260, I have also used the 346xp and if I were to change my 260 I think I would be opting for the 346xp because of the size.
