heart still racing hands still shakin !!!

bought a cam a few weeks ago when it arrived i plugged it all in and nothing so sent an email and got a free replacement with out having to send the old one back well the replacement came today so again i plugged in the adapter and BANG i nearly shat meself it was so load that mine me mums and me bruvs ears were ringing for 20 mins after , plugs black, sockets black, thought that was it for me !!!

claim some compo from the company! tell them your to scared to touch another plug again and its had a serious effect on your day to day life!:grinning-smiley-003

 

Im only messing round sounds like you had a lucky escape there, in all seriousness its worth letting trading standards know as it might not be the first time this company has sold sketchy goods and you could save someones life regardless of financial outcome :thumbup1:

 

I would say go put the kettle on and relax but with your recent track record with electrics it might be better to convince someone else to! :laugh1:

bet that made for some serious undergarment redecoration!

 

i had the bright idea once of just cutting a cable to my old freeview box, i couldnt find which plug it was and it was a faff to even follow the cable, so i just got my multitool out with pliers on and cut it, they were all metal, it made a bang and now its welded some copper to the cutting edges, it tripped NOTHING! it made a hell of a bang.

 

I made a resolution to unplug stuff first!
