Watched swamp loggers for the first time last night, unfortunately I missed the begining of the episode so found it hard to understand the context of their work?:blushing:all seemed rather destructive? and the felling of a mature Taxodium a complete crime? although must admit I almost wet my self when the guy attempting to fell it couldnt remember which way round the chain fitted on his saw. reality tv gotta love it:thumbup:

If the contractors we use to fell large swathes of tree left that kind of damage we wouldn't pay them until the dmaaged area has been repaired. We got told off by the boss for chewing up the edges of a trailway but you cant help it when there has been about 4 inches of rain the night before.

Place I'm at the moment resembles a swamp.Started off was mossy and bit of grass and weeds now it's sloppy,dirty iron ore filled mud up to my knees

does America have ppe regulations like us Brits?
