Looking for 130

Thanks all, a couple more places to try there.

Some of the dealers seem to be a bit optimistic on their pricing. I have seen a few 130s with 100k+ miles on them for brand new 110 money.

Then again, if they can sell them for that then fair play to them.

JimE- have you had a defender before?

They hold their price like nothing else, and 100k is NOTHNG for a landrover, esp 200 or 300 tdis. They cost a hell of a lot more, because they crap all over the others. TBH if you are going to put your own bodywork on, why dont you just buy an MOT fail defender, and a new galvanised 130 chassis for about £1400?

Hi Tommer,

I have 2 90's at the moment both with high miles. One has 240,000km on the clock. Both great trucks, but way too small!

I'm expecting to buy a 130 with similar mileage, but I dont think they are worth some of the prices the dealers are asking.

The green 1998 tipper on the exmod site is nice, but I'd say that was worth 7.5 maybe 8k to me. Not 9.5k.

Maybe I'm just a bit off the mark, or it might be an exceptionally tidy truck.
