I've been to the Jake factory a few years ago. The quality of engineering and attention to detail is first class. The Jake frame keeps the tractor 3pt linkage free and the crane can be demounted (with a bit of work) if necessary. They make kits for most tractors and will supply the mounting plate pre drilled to suit what ever crane you are using.

Before you order send the tractor serial no and take photos of the underside so that the mounting brackets suit as there are variations in tractor specs. JL is not the only dealer for Jake frames. Most of the crane suppliers also offer them.
