I recently put an advert in a little shop i pass now and again,"log nets £3.00 for 8-10 hardwood logs" cost me £6.00 to advertise, as i walked out i noticed they were selling log nets as well, didnt count the amount of logs ,but they were priced at £9.00 . Next time i pass i will be calling in to see where he placed my ad.

on our way to Alton towers this weekend, the wife wanted to call in Homebase ??????

Anyway, sure enough they've got log nets at the checkout.

My 11 year old boys not the shy and retiring type, and as we're queueing up with an armful of new christmas lights..

..at the top of his voice....

"DADDY........THEY'RE SELLING LOGS HERE.......£6.95 A BAG !!!!!!!!"

"CAN I BRING THEM A PALLET LOAD TO SELL FOR ME ????"

He fills nets off the pile and sells em in the village for £3 a time...

Start em young..

An old fella behind us was Pi**ing himself laughing

Its a marketing opening - buy his (get a bulk load at a cheaper price!), dry them properly, re pack and sale at your price later on when his are all gone. There are plenty of guys suddenly selling wood round ours, I doubt they'll still have decent stock come Feb.
