While on a job yesterday a man came and asked if i could come and look at a tree for him, he said that it was only half a tree as him and his mate had done the other half:biggrin:. i went along and i walked into the back garden i was greeted with a spruce pole about 4m high and a pile of branches, as i looked around i saw an electric chainsaw, bow saw and the obligatory blue polyprop rope:biggrin: then i saw next doors shed, the guy went on to explain how his mate had cut the branches off as he climbed up them to act as a ladder, then when he got as high as he dare he cut the top off which fell right onto next doors shed. he asked how much to fell the pole, i said 20 quid, he then said how much would i have charged to do the whole job, £150 i replied, he then said the new shed had cost him 300 quid and that was before he even took all the brash away and paid me my 20 quid. to say he was a bit sick is an understatement:thumbup:
