I fell over onto a switched off saw which was in my hand on a forestry job a couple of years ago. Sliced open my forearm, had to drive the Mog back to the compound and drive myself to hospital which was fun. 5" deep gash and lots of stitches still i'd rather take it switched off than running lol !

Motor off = cover on! We're getting that drilled into us in work at the moment.

 

would be hard to sharpen with the cover on but i know what you mean this was in the depot in a bench vice
