did the top stem on the lorry have a heavy lean? or was it just a crappy hinge rip rip rippy lol

 

a bit of both really, it was kinda in the middle of a grissalinia hedge which made it awkward as the wanted to retain the hedge

remember what happened to you and robb the last time you felled out of a hedgerow, tell the customer you need a saw length around the tree or fell it at hedge height, and use a bigger saw than required, saves doing the guessing game bit and missing out the wee bit that holds the tree up, do it pushing chain side so you can stand at the front and see what the other side is doing, leave an open gub aswell, even strop it so it doesnt slip to the side and wreck the hedge.

not at all mate, i have recked many a hedge and snapped ropes trying to pull over stems that my saw was too small for, just trying to save you the same hassle lol

 

haha im not sure why it pulled to be honest. i was using the 390 with a 28 on it and the boys didnt even really have to pull it, just went straight over, just one of those things i guess, cracking fun job though
