I just started using the pallet and sheep wire method.Works blinking fantastic!

As mentioned it's a pain in the butt to empty into trailer or truckbed.

I stabled mine round bottom, stable as a rock.usually tip them over by hand in back of pickup.I use a block and tackle and Scafold frame and strops to lift them up.Need a tractor with forks before my backs screwed completly

ey up big man! - like the engineering solution "block and tackle" - youd go down a storm with our lads - all the best j.

does anybody use cubic log nets that sit on pallets. if so how the hell do you fill them without them spreading and overlappping over the edge of the pallet.

the picture is looks ideal but they never come out like that. any pictures or advice would be much appreciated. ta

I have been using these nets for a couple years, and think they are great.

To stop them going out over the pallet you need them tight on the frame, and the strig at the bottom needs to be tied about 1/3 of its length.

Then you need to pack them tight around the bottom, making sure they are pushed tight into the corners.

as you fill the net with logs make sure you keep pushing the logs tight into the corners, this helps it keep its shape once frame removed.

We normally have two people on the job, one on processor and the other sorting logs in net, setting up new ones, emptying saw dust, loading log deck etc.

Hope this all makes sense:thumbup1:
