CS30/31 next week

Hi all. Got my CS30 on Monday, and 31 on Friday. Spent to day practicing getting those gobs perfect. Split levels and dog tooths going ok, hope I pass as I can't wait to get up in the tree again! Been felling Scots Pine for the last few weeks, would be nice to do some broadleaves and not come home coated in a layer of sap!

good luck with your assessment, just take your time and always remember safety precautions ie escape routes, chain brake when moving with the saw etc etc

hope it goes well for you and remember your chainbrake when moving, keep on revising what a drive link, cutter body and depth gauge and the rest, you will be fine:thumbup:

Cheers guys. Yeah, I'm trying to keep safety in the forefront of my brain. Left/right hand cutters, depth gauge, rivets, tie straps, drive links, guard links. I think it's all in there somewhere!

Cheers Max. I know that on some courses they've done them all on one day, but for some reason, me and me course buddies are all on Friday.
