Processing Hawthorn

Charlieh i put hawthorn and blackthorn through a japper processor works well but as you said i also cut my cord to 4 feet as most comes home on the quad they dont need to be straight as the processor has an arm with a spike which holds the wood still:001_smile:

 

I've never put hawthorn thru my Hakki so couldn't comment on the knots but you would be amazed how bendy a 10' to 12' long limb or length has to be before it wll not go thru the processor. If they are really bad simply cut them in half then process.
