Funding for cs 30/31

Hello,

 

I was wondering if there is any funding availble for cs 30/31? Grants etc...

 

I have been looking into it but havent found anything, is there anything that might be worth looking into?

 

Any advice etc would be appreciated.

The Princes Trust do grants for young people called development awards. The maximum they will give someone is £500, most CS30/31 courses are more than that, so you will need to put something towards it as well. Contact them and see what they say. what area are you in? as the funding is normally regionally dependant so if you fill in your location in your profile it will help people local to you give you a more detailed response

Depending on how old you are...If you are over 25(?) and have been struggling £££ you could apply for Learning for Life funding. They cover up to 80% (100% in exceptional circumstances) for well planned training with costs covering £250 - £1500. This would be more than enough if you qualify..You would have to write them an extremely sad and touching letter (preferably with a potential suicidal details) and also explain what are you going to do with this course and how would this improve your career and life. Ring your local colleges for more info. Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies, Im 18 years old and live in mansfield in nottinghamshire.

 

I can just about afford equipment for it but training is an issue.

 

Will look into the princes trust and learning for life cheers
