Easily done tho. Same re the grease nipple in the UJ spider i.e. which way the thread must face etc...

Hi just a quick one how old is your L200?

I had this when I had an L200 and as already said it was the wee mount that connected the transfer box to the chassis. It has a rubber centre to it.

Are the yokes at either end of your prop shaft correctly phased ?

 

The yokes should be aligned at 90 degrees.It shouldn't make alot of difference on a long propshaft but you've said that it is better when loaded .The prop will be straighter when loaded and if you have uprated springs the problem will be worse.Some props can only be aligned in one position and cannot be changed.

Thanks for the replies so far. Re the above, worse when loaded. A steep hill start pulling 2ton earlier was really bad - bad enough to consider going into low range. Have now checked it in 4WD - just the same - bad!
