Hyd oil service - entec

need to think about changing the filter and hydraul oil in my 6inch entec -

anybody know what the spec for the oil is - if there is one?

I'm guessing halfords clutch/brake oil isnt the stuff to go for.

 

any tips before i delve in with my tool set.

A Hydraulic system will operate on pretty much any fluid.

 

Clearly anything other than oil is going to cause wear problems and within oils some are better than others.

 

Hydraulic oil goes by ISO viscosity grades, the most common grade used is 32’s

[C.J]

Do not use brake and clutch fluid
