Go for it.Im 43 started arb trainning at 40 got my BTEC in Arb, cs30,31,38 and 39.Now work for a great company, groundwork and climbing. As long as your fit , like hard work go for it. Start off getting up to speed in trees and as you do it more you will get fitter. I was a squaddie and thought i was fit...then started climbing and was knackerd but you get stronger the more you do it. My boss took me on at my age and i get the job done for him.

Good luck.

It really amazes me the ammount of people leaves the army do a course then start there own company straight away.

really its that easy .... if you work hard ,most people who have worked in the forces and not made sargent know hard work .... i will tell you what amazes me is the amount of boy scout pricks who turn up in are industry with a new chipper truck and what ever else from mummy and daddy brought them who last more than 3 years because they are not capable of hard work or physically exerting them selfs for more than one day.
