If you can, get to the APF at the weekend mate. There will be loads of things there that you can try on and see what suits you. Some people swear by one harness and some others will hate it. Its really a personnal choice. You've got to remember that you'll potentially be spending a lot of time in a harness so its worthwhile spending a bit of time looking and making sure you choose the right one.

I've never used that before to be honest mate, so I can't really comment on it. I'd look at 13mm to start with and make sure its only got the one eye splice as well. Have a look at some different ropes as well if you get to the show. There should be some good deals on.

Try Micks Harness out and any others you work with.

I went to some of the south east Meets (2 out of the 5 that have happened unlike the northern lot :001_tt2: ) Where Justin (FR Jones) was there with his vans and goodies and he let me try various harnesses until i found the one that fitted best and was most comfortable. Which happened to be petzl-sequoia-climbing-harness

Each to there own on harnesses and i would not buy with out trying first.

I beleive there have been 6 northern meets that have happened plus Franks........
