Got totally soaked moving the digger onto the next job.

Only bit warm and dry was the feet, praise be to the Haix.

The good side was that when a brake rod pulled out of it's clevis and the trailer took off down the slope (after uncoupling) it was safely caught by a pile of brash that I have been meaning to move for ages.

Today everthing was better than I could ever had hoped for.:icon14:

Not in sunny Abergavenny by any chance?

Gave that a miss and went to the Cider Festival up the road.

Wet, but I really wasn't in a state to care :proud:

No, cider called.

But I did put up a load of the tents on Saturday morning, starting at 07:30 for the local scouts (who get a reasonable amount of cash for lending the kit to the steam rally) with the promise of bacon sandwiches that never appeared!

what most impressed me about that rally was a old mog. it got hold off are low loader and draged it off the field like it was not even behind it

I had a look at the field last night, not surprised they needed a mog, it's a mess.

The question is did it make you want to buy one?:fisheye:

i would not mind one after seeing that. the steam engine and everything on the low loader must weigh about 45 ton i was well impressed how it got hold off that load
