Tbh, I was looking at getting a 7.5 toner years ago and do think they are a great idea in this game (although i was going to use it as a second vehicle) it's just I would have to get a bigger yard etc so decided against it. Anyway I think I could tow 750kg although it looked like on my license it could be 11000kg MAM never really got to the bottom of it!

If you put a 3.5 tonne trailer behind it you would increase your payload by about 2.4 tonnes.

On a pre 97 licence you can tow a combination of up to 8250 ie 7500kg lorry and 750kg lorry or 5.25t van and 3t trailer if vehicle specs that.

 

If you've taken the c1 test you can tow 750kg behind it.

 

Anything over that you need full artic licence ie C+E

No that's just for the truck and me the driver. I'll chip into the back of it with your chipper or load timber and drive it to where you want it but other than that I aint interested in climbing or grounding for anyone else.
