prob with ms250

hi there ive got a ms250 its been in the shed for a while and i was going to to bring it back out to use as ground saw mainly next to the chipper but when i tried to start it yesterday it just wouldnt there is compresion there but it willnot turn over any ideas what it could be any help would be great

the lead going to the plug is the ht lead, un plug the ht lead, remove spark plug, connect plug and ht lead again, then touch the spark plug on themetal near the spark plug hole, hold it there and pull the pull cord, you should be able to see the spark flicker (fiddily to do, sit or stand on saw!)

is the fuel getting through? if you pull the pull cord a fair few times, with the spark plug in place, then remove the plug, is it wet with fuel? does it smell of petrol?

what colours the plug? white bad, digestive biscuit brown perfect, black bad
