1980 david brown 995 transmission filter

a yellow light on the dashboard of my david brown 995 has come on ive been told it is a warning light that the transmission filter is blocked needs changing could some one tell me were the filter is please i thought it would be stuck out the side of the gearbox and look like a oil filter but there is nothing there

It’s in a pan looking thing under the gearbox.
