Do you need a box?

You can get an adequate job going on by digging a pit and venting it with a grain fan on a tractor PTO

good idea, but its on the site of a demolished building so too much hardcore & not enough room, I was just wondering about buying a hook box and using a pto fan, great minds :thumbup1:

Yup…… you definitely need to keep a fire away from hard-core, brick and concrete can be quite spectacular when the water expands and makes it blow apart.

Try one of the demolition firms for an old 45 cube skip, without a fire brick lining the burning will probably finish it off but scrap is a good price
